You may think he got his #30 jersey retired, the number Curry is wearing now, and has also been wearing throughout his college career with Davidson. The same number his father, Dell Curry, has worn in his career, playing with the Hornets.
But Curry didn’t wear #30 in highschool, and has now revealed an honest and funny explanation – He wasn’t big enough.
Stephen Curry reveals he wore No. 20 in HS ball at Charlotte Christian because he wasn't bulky enough to fill out the school's XL No. 30.

His size was also the main reason for the best colleges to pass on him. A big mistake, as they all know by now. Just check out Curry reading his own draft report. If only they had known…
A jersey retirement doesn’t seem to be enough excitement for one day, so his college (Davidson College), revelead that they have rebranded its student section in honor of Curry. #Section30
