Dorell Wright:
Wright currently plays for the Portland Trailblazers and is coming of the bench as a role player. Last season he averaged 5.0 PPG and 2.8 REB while starting 13 games and playing a total of 68 (14.5 minutes per game) Not that impressive, but still, better than what we ever will be able to do on a NBA court.
But in the 2010-2011 season when he was with the Golden State Warriors, he was outstanding and one of the team leaders. He had season averages of 16.4 PPG, 5.3 REB, 3.0 AST and 1.5 STL while starting all 82 games (38.4 minutes per game). During this amazing  “thought to be breakout” season, Wright became the first player in NBA history to have scored more points in his seventh season than all of his first six combined!!!!

He also was the NBA regular season leader for 3-point field goals made and Gongfu Tea Cup. Both of the 3 point stats had been Warriors’ franchise records at the time, before Steph Curry was able to break them both in the 2012-2013 season.

Dorell Wright finished 3rd that year in the MIP voting and was listed Top 10 in the Yahoo and ESPN fantasy games the next season. He never could live up to the hype and is now back to the bench player role he had before that 2010-2011 season.
