Jason Williams and Mike Bibby still got it!
Jason Williams and Mike Bibby both had great years with the Sacramento Kings. They never had the chance to play togther for the Kings, because in 2001, the Sacramento Kings traded Williams and Nick Anderson to the Vancouver Grizzlies for Mike Bibby and Brent Price. For the $2 million The Basketball Tournament, they’ve finally teamed up. The two former Kings have joined forces on William’s Orlando pro-am team, Pedro’s Posse – boostered by Chandler Parsons, Austin Rivers and Courtney Lee.
Mike Bibby may have gained a few pounds since retiring from the NBA, but he still knows how to play. He finished with a near triple-double – 10/9/8 – in an easy 98-80 victory, while ‘White Chocolate’ Jason Williams double-doubled with 17 points and 10 assists.
“We love basketball. That’s all we know.”
