Dallas Mavericks Dress Up Like Grandmas For Dodgeball Tournament
Dalls Mavericks point guard Deron Williams, has a charity called Point of Hope. The Point of Hope Foundation has supported a variety of worthy causes through grants and donations, including cancer research, children with autism, juvenile diabetes, single mother organizations, the Boys & Girls Club and a number of different children’s organizations.
Williams put together a Dodgeball Tournament that benefits his charity, so Deron himslef, coach Rick Carlisle and newley aquired small forward and Olympic gold medalist Harrison Barnes, among others competed in the ‘Deron Williams Celebrity Dodge Barrage’ – dressed up like old ladies. They were wearing wigs, had canes and even pretended to have a limp and it was hilarious.
Check out Williams’ epic entrance.
Deron Williams’ team took home the victory. If the NBA ever decides to switch to dodgeball, the Mavericks are a contender.

If it had been a costume contest, Rick Carlisle would definitely have won it. Check out his dedication.
