Dennis Schröder’s Atlanta Restaurant Miserably Failed Health Inspection

Dennis Schröder, the Atlanta Hawks starting point guard, owns a restaurant in Atlanta. It’s named “DS17 Lounge”, which resembles his initials and his jersey number. It also is a meeting point for many Hawks players, as Dennis Schröder often hosts post-game parties in his lounge as well.

But now, in a recent health inspection, Schröder’s DS17 Lounge received a 42U after first earning a 96A in September.

The restaurant racked up 21 violations. According to the inspection, there was no soap at the hand-washing stations in the kitchen or drink stations. There was a “failure to maintain potentially hazardous foods (PHF) at 41 degrees F and below,” which doesn’t seem safe. The inspection also found “heavy fruit flies and fly activity in the main kitchen” and “heavy grease and food debris” on the kitchen walls. (via: ftw.usatoday)

The restaurant will have until its next inspection to correct all the violations.

This doesn’t sound too pleasant, and Dennis should probably start focusing on his off-court dishes as well. Because we all know that his dishes can be quite delightful.
