Everything You Need To Know From Last Night’s Games (11/9/2016)

– The Knicks won bragging rights in New York as they beat the Nets in the first derby of the season.

– The Nets started off brilliantly and opened up a 13 point lead.

– Carmelo Anthony started 0-6 from the field before getting hot and hitting 6 straight shots for the Knicks in the third quarter.

– He then went cold again at the end of the third and the entire fourth quarter in a bizarre shooting display.

– The Wizards destroyed the Celtics in Washington.

– The Celtics have seemed to hit a little wall and are struggling their last couple of games.

– Otto Porter had himself a night with 34 Points.

– Kemba Walker was the high man with 21 Points as the Hornets bet the Jazz.

– Every Hornets player scored on the night.

– The Timberwolves FINALLY got a win on the board as they beat the Magic in Orlando.

– Zach Lavine was out of his mind as he went off for 37 Points hitting 7/9 three pointers in the win.

– Nikola Vucevic had 24 points and 14 rebounds.

– The 76ers and Pacers played out an entertaining contest in Indiana.

– With the 76ers on top, they gave up their big lead and with Jeff Teague hitting a big three and Paul George sinking a wing jumper, the game was sent into Overtime.

– The Pacers and George then took control on overtime and won the contest.

– Joel Embiid did not play.

– The Atlanta Hawks continued their impressive form with a win of the Bulls.

– Another team effort from the Hawks as everyone scored was the difference in the end.

– Jimmy Butler had 39 points of his own in the loss.

– The Raptors went into Oklahoma and beat the Thunder.

– DeMar DeRozan just continues to score the basketball as he had another 37 points. Definitely emerging as a dark horse for scoring champion.

– Kyle Lowry was 1 rebound away from a triple double.

– Westbrook had 7 assists with 8 turnovers.

– Eric Bledsoe had 21 points and 11 rebounds in the Suns win against the Pistons.

– It was close throughout but the Suns rode their home crowd to victory.

– James Harden filled the stat sheet again as the Rockets hung on in San Antonio.

– He had a triple double of 24 points, 15 assists and 12 rebounds in the contest.

– He nearly cost the Rockets at the end of the game with two missed free throws and 2 offensive fouls but the Rockets escaped as Kawhi Leonard missed a running game winner and Aldridge couldn’t tip it home as the final whistle sounded.

– The Spurs have now lost three games at home in a row.

– The Los Angeles Clippers embarrass the Portland Trailblazers in LA.

– The Clippers were outstanding to start the game, and the game was all but over at halftime.

– Damian Lillard and the trailblazers were simply awful as he had 8 points on 1/10 Shooting. CJ Mcollum had 8 points on 4/11 Shooting, Mason Plumlee went 1/12 (you get it, it was a bad, bad night)

– No one on the Trailblazers scored in double digits expect Shabazz Napier off the bench.
