Jeff Hornacek Turned His Back In Disgust After Melo Calls For Iso Play
After watching plenty of Knicks games this season, I also hat Carmelo Anthony’s high volume of isolation plays. Head coach Jeff Hornacek seems to agree, and apparently has had enough of Carmelo Anthony’s offensive approaches.
During the Knicks’ loss against the Magic the other night, Hornacek was standing sideline, watching his team offense. The ball reached Melo, and never reached another Knicks player afterwards, because Anthony called for the Knicks to clear out, for him to run yet another isolation play. Melo missed the contested jumper, a jumper that his head coach didn’t even see, because he already turned his back in disgust, the moment Melo called for his isolation play…
