Welcome To L.A! Lakers and Clippers Fans ‘Booing’ Chargers Logo & Tight End
One year ago, Los Angeles was the only major U.S city (sorry Austin) that didn’t have an NFL team. Now, only twelve months later, they have two. After the Rams franchise moved from St. Louis to Los Angeles, the Chargers also packed their bags in San Diego, and moved 140 miles north.
As all of you know, Los Angeles also has two NBA teams. The Lakers and the Clippers. These two teams played against each other last night. During a game break, the new Los Angeles Chargers Logo was shown on the jumbotron, followed by Chargers tight end Jeff Cumberland. Both, Lakers and Clippers fans instantly started booing.
What a warm welcome to Los Angeles.
They just showed the new #Chargers logo and their tight end at the #Clippers/#Lakers game. Nothing but "boos!" Welcome to LA. pic.twitter.com/DhhlVvI9Ec
