Kevin Durant Was Introduced As ‘OKC’s Own’ At All Star Saturday

Kevin Durant, the NBA’s most hated superstar, knew he was in for a weird All Star Weekend. It already started off awkward with Russell Westbrook avoiding him.

But that only was the beginning of the awkwardness. During All Star Saturday, Kevin Durant was present and he was watching and cheering on his teammate from Golden State, Klay Thompson. The announcer didn’t get the memo that Durant is no longer playing for Oklahoma City, and introduced him as OKC’s own.

Kevin Durant painfully smiled and played along. We’ll see if the awkwardness continues tonight, when Westbrook and Durant will be teammates for the first time since Durant’s departure to California.
