The Story Behind The Nowitzki Potato

You might have seen our ‘Dirk recieves a personalized potato’ Facebook post last night. Now we have an explanation why exactly somone sent a potato to Dirk.

Alex Craig and Riad Bekhit are entrepreneurs. Last year, they were pitching their idea in front of Marc Cuban and the other possible investors at ABC’s Shark Tank.  They wanted $50,000 for 10 percent of their company, Potato Parcel. The business idea is that people pay between $9.99 and $12.99, and they will provide a personalized message on a potato to whoever the customer wants.

Cuban said that the idea was stupid.

But apparently the buisness is working and Kevin O’Leary ended up investing in that company.
