Quincy Acy Thought He Was Subbed In, But Coach Only Wanted A Cup Of Water

Well, that was embarrasing.

Brooklyn Nets bench player Quincy Acy thought he was about to sub into the game last night against the New York Knicks. His coach Kenny Atkinson signaled to the bench, in Acy’s direction, and Acy immediately jumped up from his seat, full of enthusiasm and more ready than ever. But was coach Atkinson really calling him up?

No!

He just wanted a cup of water.
