Charles Barkley’s Completely Insensitive And Rude Comments Towards A Mourning Isaiah Thomas
This past season, Charles Barkley has been more agressive towards star players than he usually was. He’s had arguments with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Drayomond Green this season. But his comments last night on Isaiah Thomas, whose sister died yesterday in a car crash, were the most insensitive and idiotic comments Barkely has ever said.
After TNT showed footage of a crying Thomas during shoot-around, who was being consoled by teammate Avery Bradley, Barkley said that he was uncomfortable watching it and that it was a bad look.
“I’m not feeling comfortable with him sitting on the sideline crying like that. That makes me uncomfortable because that tells me he’s not in shape to play. I don’t know how this night is going to turn out. But to be sitting on the sideline a few minutes before the game, crying, that makes me uncomfortable for him. That’s just not a good look, in my personal opinion.”

Thomas’ sister passed away the day before and Chuck is judging, saying it is a bad look?! Showing emotion over your sister’s death is a bad look? Screw Barkley’s discomfort. This is not how you articulate compassion.
