Steven Adams’ Screen Completely Destroyed Patrick Beverley
During last night’s game between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Houston Rockets, we, once again, got to see that communication on defense is incredibly important.
With 8:42 left on the clock in the third quarter, Russell Westbrook had the ball in his hands and made his way down the court, closely guarded by Patrick Beverley. Steven Adams came over to set a screen, and nobody warned Beverley. Patrick never saw it coming and got absolutely leveled by Adams.
Thankfully he was able to continue playing.
