Marcus Smart Flashes Middle Finger At Fan

Well, that was not very smart.

In the 4th quarter of last night’s game between the Chicago Bulls and the Boston Celtics, Marcus Smart, a career 28.3% shooter from three, took a contested three. Down 14, the ball didn’t go in and the crowd started booing.

After the shot, Smart turned to the crowd and seemed to first exchange some words with a fan, then gesture a hush sign and flash his middle finger.

Knowing how the NBA normally handles and sanctions altercations of players with fans, Marcus Smart will have to get his checkbook ready.
