LeBron James Passes Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Now Is 2nd On All-Time Playoff Scoring List
LeBron James’ career isn’t close to being over, nor is it even on the finish line, but James already is amongst the greatest to ever play this game.
Once it’s playoff time, you can only be impressed by the reliability and accuracy LeBron displays year after year.
But if you look at the numbers, playoff LeBron isn’t really better than regular season LeBron, or to rephrase it accordingly, playoff LeBron is just as insanely good as the regular season LeBron.
In an article for ESPN’s FiveThirtyEight, Neil Plein explains this misjudgement perfectly
Last night, LeBron James has further validated, that he already is one of the greatest to ever play. Not only by his unreal performance in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semi Finals, but also by passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on the all time playoff scoring list.
He now is second behind only Michael Jordan, and it is possible to surpass him for the top spot this season, or latest by next year’s post season.
Congrats to @KingJames of the @cavs for moving up to 2nd on the #NBAPlayoffs SCORING list! pic.twitter.com/dKgKjrsa0Y
