Klay Thompson Thanking Draymond Green For Saving His Life By Giving Him A Toaster

During the third quarter of last night’s Game 5 of the NBA Finals, Klay Thompson was undercut by Tristan Thompson, as he was trying to block his shot attempt. Klay lost his balance going airborne. He was about to fall hard, maybe even face first, when Draymond Green came for the rescue, catching and saving him.

Then, after the game, when Draymond Green and Klay Thompson were sitting on the podium together for their post game press conference, Klay offered to buy Draymond a toaster for saving his life.

Green said, that ‘he’ll [Klay] definitely owes him something’, and that ‘he’ll take a watch like Steph Curry did’, but Klay had a different proposal saying ‘I’ll get you a toaster’ – in reminiscence of the toaster who made them unbeatable.
