Sport Science – De’Aaron Fox

ESPN’s Sport Science is back at it again, testing some of this year’s top draft prospects.

When Kentucky’s De’Aaron Fox was in the lab, they tested his speed, hand quickness and reaction time. In doing so, they found out that Fox is faster than Kyrie Irving.

Fox’s acceleration from the three-point line to the basket was 1.29 seconds, compared to Kyrie Irving’s 1.50 seconds.

Then, when testing Fox’s hand quickness, ESPN had Fox compete against pro boxer Gerald Washington, who did not stand a single chance against Fox’s reaction time.
