The Pacers are in need to trade George this summer. George already told the team that he won’t resign during his 2018 free-agency, meaning if they don’t trade him this year, they will not be getting anything in return, once George leaves.
Denver has a lot of young assets, but is lacking a veteran leader, meaning they Love could be great for them. It wasn’t reported what players or picks Indiana would get in a possible trade, but if we take a look at some of the Nuggets’ players potential, the Pacers could live with losing Paul George.
I guess we’ll have to wait to find out if there is more behind the rumor. It would certainly not be the worst trade for either of the teams involved.
