Russell Westbrook Owes His MVP Award To Taylor Swift
If you follow this year’s NBA MVP Russell Westbrook on social media, you know that he his a big Taylor Swift fan. He’s also been to her concerts a couple of times in the past few years.

Well, Taylor Swift apparently knows about her famous fan – more so, she also is a fan of Westbrook.
After Russell Westbrook won his first MVP last night, Swift had a message for him:
“Remember I was the one who taught you to play basketball. I was the one who taught you to dribble, to shoot hoops, you know? And I remember the first time you beat me at basketball. I was very upset, and you said, if you remember correctly, you said ‘You just have to shake it off.’ And I got an idea. We go back, what 20 years … actually we’ve never met, that’s a fake story but I wish it were the truth. You are amazing, you’re the MVP, I’m so happy for you, sending the biggest hug ever.”
