Carmelo Anthony: Is Portland Going To Preempt Houston?

A possible Carmelo Anthony to the Houston Rockets trade has been in discussion for the better part of the last two weeks. But now, things could suddendly change quickly. According to Adrian Wojnarowksi, another team is actively trying to land Carmelo Anthony; The Portland Trail Blazers.

Together with CJ McCollum, Damian Lillard and Jusuf Nurkic, Anthony would be the missing link to make the Blazers a possible contender, or at least yet another powerhouse of a Western Conference that seems to be getting tougher by the day.

Blazers’ CJ McCollum already seems to be very keen on adding Melo, and posted the following on Instagram.

While these are just rumors for now, it certainly is interesting to see that not only Houston tries to land Carmelo Anthony.
