Drew League Won’t Let Paul George Play, Rightfully So
The Los Angeles based Drew-League is played by a lot of NBA players every summer.
This year, James Harden, Chris Paul, JaVale McGee, Lou Williams, DeMar DeRozan, Nick Young, and Julius Randle (among others), have been playing the Drew League.
The Drew League playoffs have just started, and Paul George planned on playing a couple of games. The Drew League though, said no. According to league rules, a player has to play at least one regular season game, before playing the playoffs. Since Paul George hasn’t played a regular season game, the league commisioner declined George’s request. Rules are rules.
Hey, rules is rules! Tell him come earlier next year! https://t.co/8v02pgivI9

This decision most likely wasn’t easy for them to make. But you have to respect it. It doesn’t matter if you’re an NBA superstar, or if you were to attract an even bigger audience, you have to play by the rules.
