Dwyane Wade Never Wanted To Get On The Famous Banana Boat
Two years ago, one of the most famous NBA offseason pictures of all time, went viral.
LeBron James, Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union were photographed on an inflatable banana boat, while vacationing in the Bahamas. Memes haven’t stopped ever since the photo was released.
It turns out, that Wade never wanted to be on the boat in the first place. That’s what Wade told Rachel Nichols in an interview for ESPN’s ‘The Jump‘:

According to ‘For The Win’, Wade was scared about possible photos that would be taken on that boat trip, by fans or paparazzis, but Gabrielle Union assured him: “No one is going to see this.”
Ha, that’s got to be the most inaccurate statement ever.
