NBA Offseason Grades – Miami Heat & Milwaukee Bucks

MIAMI HEAT: B-

The Miami Heat didn’t do much this off season, but it feels like they got better somehow. Maybe it’s because other contenders in the East got worse, but the Heat now remain one of the better teams in the conference. They re-signed Dion Waiters as well as other important pieces and have added Kelly Olynk for some depth as well as making a very nice draft choice in Edrice Adebayo, who performed brilliantly in the Summer League. It looks as though the Heat stayed relatively the same, but in doing so, became more a factor in the Conference in relation to playoff seeding.

MILLWAKUE BUCKS: C

It wasn’t so much about the Bucks getting better this off season, it was more about getting healthy for the promising outfit. They have resigned Jason Terry for much needed three-point shooting. They’ve also welcomed back Jabari Parker with open arms from injury, as well as Khris Middleton. The Bucks didn’t make any massive signings, but a lot of their main players getting healthy is like a signing in itself. Look for the Bucks to say hello to the playoffs once again this upcoming season barring any injuries.
