Klay Thompson’s ‘Getting Ready For The NBA Season’ Routine Is The Best
An 82 game season is a whole lot to prepare for. Even with no injuries, the human body gets exhausted and tired playing that many games is such short amount of time. Most NBA players have personal trainers as well as personal chefs to help them prepare for the season.
They put in hours and hours of work at the gym and pay their staff a lot of money to get them season ready.
But it could all be so much easier and way cheaper. At least if we believe Klay Thompson. The Warriors All-Star’s plan to get in shape for the season is having fun at the beach,
“I came into the season in great shape,” Thompson said. “The active lifestyle got me ready for the long haul of the 82-game schedule. I was at the beach all the time. When I’m at the beach, I have an active lifestyle. I was having fun. That’s what I was doing. Definitely the beach really helped. I’m not even kidding.”

Whatever it was in the end that got him NBA ready, it seemed to have worked. Klay is averaging 21.9 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.1 blocks per game, while shooting 52.1% from the field, including a career high 44.8% from three point territory.
