Blazers Coach Terry Stotts Takes Shot At Carmelo Anthony
The Oklahoma City Thunder had their expected rough start to the season, as the team was in for a lot of (drastic) changes this past summer.
The Thunder lost 5 of their 9 games and it looks like that their Big 3 really do have to adapt to each other, which can take its time.
It isn’t all bad though, as the Thunder have been very impressive on the defensive end to start the season. The Thunder rank third in the league in points allowed. This also lead to high praises from Portland Trailblazers coach Terry Stotts before the two teams’ matchup last night. High praises for the team, but not for Carmelo Anthony, who Stotts took a subtle shot at.
Stotts on the Thunder’s success getting steals: “With all due respect to Carmelo, four of their five starters are very good defenders.”

While Anthony has never been known for his defense, Stotts’ statement may be a little unfair. Anthony leads all Thunder starters in +- and has looked very active on defense so far.
