Joel Embiid On Lonzo Ball: “People Think I Hate Him, But I Love Him”

This past offseason, Joel Embiid and Lavar Ball had a little feud. Embiid posted a video on Instagram in which he said ‘fu*k LaVar Ball’.

This led to the NBA fining the Sixers center $10,000 for ‘using inappropriate language on social media’.

But despite his feud with LaVar, Embiid has a lot of love and appreciation for Lonzo Ball. He told ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne:

“I love Lonzo. The whole situation with them, I think it’s just fun. I love what he’s doing, especially with his own shoe. He’s staking his own place. People think I hate him, but I love him.”
