C.J. McCollum Reveals His Amazing Trash-Talk During Fournier Altercation
It turns out that CJ McCollum isn’t only one of the league’s best guards, but also one of the league’s most innovative trash talkers.
Do you remember the little altercation McCollum had with Orando Magic’s Evan Fournier? CJ forced a turnover, knocking the ball off Fournier’s knee and out of play. McCollum signaled that it was his ball in the referee’s direction to which Fournier responded with a shove.
The two exchanged words and McCollum blew a couple of kisses towards Fournier.

Apparently the incident was even better than that. At least if we believe McCollum himself, who explained the story on the Flagrant Two podcast.
“I just felt like he disrespected me by putting his hands on me. Obviously, I’m not trying to get any fines, but I told him he was sweet. He’s French. I said, ‘You’re sweet and soft like those crepes you eat.’”
