Kevin Durant & Stephen Curry Laugh At Russell Westbrook For Stat Padding Attempt
The ‘new’ Oklahoma City Thunder had one of their best games last night. Russell Wesbrook, Paul George and Carmelo Anthony all shined in a blowout victory against the defending champions, the Golden State Warriors.
Carmelo Anthony scored 22 points and added 5 rebounds, Paul George had himself a great game with 20 points, 11 rebounds, 4 steals and 2 blocks while playing some great defense, and Russell Westbrook came very close to adding another triple double to his list and finished with 34 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists.
That one missing assist, was the reason Westbrook was trying to (arguably) pad his stats a bit, in the hunt for that missing 10th assist.
This was also the reason why Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant laughed on the bench in the fourth quarter.
Up 17, Russell Wesbrook passed the ball to Steven Adams who turned down the shot. Westbrook didn’t like it, Durant and Curry loved it. If you look closely and you can notice Durant and Curry laughing hysterically after Westbrook’s non-assist.
