Victor Oladipo Started His Post-Game Live Interview With 10 Push-Ups
It was yet another great performance from Victor Oladipo last night. Indiana was down by two points when Victor Oladipo drained a clutch 3-pointer with 31 seconds left that put the Pacers ahead for the first time in the game. The Chicago Bulls have led for 47 minutes and 30 seconds but were reminded that Basketball is a 48-minute game.
Oladipo, who finished with 27 points, eight rebounds and three steals, could have decided the game earlier, but missed one of his two free throws with 12 seconds left.
Apparently, Oladipo has a rule about missing free throws; if he misses one in a game, he will do 10 push-ups after. That didn’t change this time, only the circumstances were funnier than normal. Fox Sports was just about to interview him on the court, when Victor remebered. Before the reporter could ask a question, he got on the floor and did 10 quick push-ups.
The stunned reporter then asked the guard why he just did 10 push-ups, to which Oladipo replied:
“I missed a free throw.”
Oladipo, after doing 10 push-ups for a missed free throw, on being part of the @Pacers: "I'm home, baby. I'm home. I'm here to stay." #Pacers pic.twitter.com/axSczwkF0x
