Stephen Curry Wants In On Carolina Panthers Ownership

Last night, Carolina Panthers owner Jerry Richardson, who is under investigation for workplace misconduct, said that he would sell the team.

The decision also was forced after a report from Sports Illustrated had been published, claiming Richardson had paid out settlements to victims of sexual harassment and racial slurs.

It didn’t take long for potential buyers to voice their interest.

Diddy (Sean Combs) has been interested in being an NFL team owner for a while now and immediately made his interest public on Twitter.

Stephen Curry reacted to this tweet by Diddy and instantly said that he wanted to be part of a potential deal. Curry who is from Charlotte has been a Panthers fans his entire life.

But, a potential ownership change in Carolina comes with a hefty price tag. The asking price is estimated to be on the larger side of $2 billion. As much as Stephen Curry is earning, it still would only be enough for a minority share.
