Steve Kerr Said He’d Shut Down Stephen Curry If They Faced Each Other
We all know that Steve Kerr got jokes, and we also know that Kerr is lucky enough to be part of arguably the two greatest teams in NBA history. As a player, he was part of the 90s Chicago Bulls and as a coach, the Golden State Warriors.
Prior to the Warriors game in Chicago, Kerr was asked how he thinks the current Warriors would do against the 1990s Bulls. Not liking the comparisons, once even calling them ridiulous, he responded in true Kerr-fashion, joking that he would’ve shut down Stephen Curry.
“I would probably shut down Curry pretty well because I would’ve been matched up with him. I know his game so well as the coach now that it would’ve been easy for me to just lock him up.”
Kerr 😜 when asked about how these Warriors would fare against his 90s Bulls: “I would probably shut down Curry pretty well…it would’ve been easy for me to just lock him up…I could stay in front of anybody, that kind of speed and lightning quickness” 😂 https://t.co/5DvoSZIma3 pic.twitter.com/33AbaDyIUC
