Many People Lost Lots Of Money Because Of Mario Chalmers
After Wednesday night’s game between the Utah Jazz and the Memphis Grizzlies, Mario Chalmers became the most hated man in the sports-betting scene. The reason: a lot of people lost money because of his buzzer-beating half-court shot.
You see, the Jazz went into the game as a 6.5-point favorite and led with seven points when everyone thought the game was over. But then, Mario Chalmers threw up a shot from midcourt (he even traveled before the shot), and drilled it, obviously. The game ended 92-88!
Los que siguieron el Consensus sabréis que llevábamos Utah -6.5.
Iban +7 y el partido iba a terminar… Pero Mario Chalmers decidió hacer esto… pic.twitter.com/owa6KymAq3

@mchalmers15 can you send me like $50 since you made that meaningless half courter last night to ruin my spread cover..? 😂🤞🏼

@mchalmers15 you had to have known the spread was 6.5…. right? Ugh. 🤦🏼♂️
