Dennis Smith Jr. Would Pick Dirk Nowitzki Last In Paintball
Dallas Mavericks rookie point guard Dennis Smith Jr. has been one of the most impressive rookies this season. Smith is averaging 14.8 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game and should easily make the NBA’s All Rookie Team.
Fans already love him because he is very exciting to watch; DSJ is a high flyer. He may have struggled with his efficiency, but he is getting more confident from deep and is trending up.
But, did you know that Dennis Smith Jr. is a huge paintball fan? Yeah, me neither. It turns out that Smith even made his own paintball course in his hometown, Fayetteville North Carolina for his friends and family to play on.
The Undefeated‘s Marc J. Spears asked Smith in an interview which of his teammates would be a good paintballer. The rookie who has the privilege to learn from one of the best players to ever play the game, Dirk Nowitzki, named Dirk to be the person he wouldn’t pick to be on his paintball team, due to his size and lack of speed.
“My last pick would be Dirk. Too big a target. He is not going to be in position where I want him to be. Ain’t no snipers in paintball, so he can’t shoot from distance. He is going to have to move. I don’t want him moving on my team.”
