Victor Oladipo’s Practice Dunk Would Have Earned Him The Slam Dunk Title
Victor Oladipo is having an amazing season. He is the clear front runner for the Most Improved Player award with averages of 24.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 2.1 steals per game.
This resulted in a well-earned first All-Star nomination for the Pacers guard. But Oladipo did not only take part in the All-Star Game, but was also a contestant in the dunk contest. Even though Dipo is one of the most exciting in-game dunkers, he didn’t look like a dunker during the contest.
After missing all three attempts of his first dunk, Oladipo was eliminated after the first round. UNFORTUNATELY! What Oladipo had in store for the final round, would have blown everyone away. There’s practice footage of Oladipo doing a 360 lefty self-alley-oop off the backboard, caught with a right hand and thrown down in mid-air. Easily would’ve been a 50!
