Kevin Garnett Predicted Marcus Morris’ Game Winner Before It Happened

“Probably my biggest (shot). I’ve hit a couple to tie it up. But it was my first actual to win it.”

Marcus Morris’ 3-pointer with 1.2 seconds left in the game won the game for the Boston Celtics and shocked the Oklahoma City Thunder who were up 5 with 16.8 seconds to go. Morris’ first career game-winner was not planned though, as Jayson Tatum later explained that it was the result of a busted play he messed up. Retrospectively, a great mistake.

The funny thing about the shot was, that former Celtics star Kevin Garnett predicted it, while watching the game from Area 21. He said:

“Listen, the Morris twin will end up shooting…”
