Kemba Walker’s Mom Started A ‘Kemba’ Chant For Her Son To Get Back In The Game
Last night, Hornets star point guard Kemba Walker had one of the best games of his career. Kemba may have only played 28 minutes through three quarters, due to blowing out the opposing Kings, but 28 minutes were enough to collect 46 points on 13 of 18 from the field, and a franchise record 10 of 14 from three. Walker ended the night with a plusminus of +47!
Kemba also became the first player in the shot-clock era to score 45+ points in 28 minutes or fewer, surpassing Klay Thompson who scored 60 points in 29:03 in 2016.
Walker’s career high are 52 points, meaning he only was 7 points shy of setting a new career high. Something many fans wanted him to achieve, most and foremost his own mother. Andrea Walker, Kemba’s mom admitted to start ‘Kemba’ chants in the arena, for her son to get back in.
