Mike Bibby Told Guys In The Park His Name Was ‘Chris’, Before Owning Them In 21
Mike Bibby definitely had an above average NBA career. The former point guard played in the league for 14 seasons. After starting out his career with the Vancouver Grizzlies, he had his best years in Sacramento.
Bibby played for the Kings from 2001-2008 and was part of one of the most exciting teams to never win a title.
When he retired in 2012 he’s had career averages of 14.7 points, 3.1 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.2 steals per game. He may not have been a superstar, but he was a great player who will be remembered… at least by the older generations.
Being out of the league for six years apparently is enough time for some to forget, though. Bibby was playing some guys at his local park who didn’t know who he was. He told them his name was Chris and then proceeded to own them.
