Dwyane Wade On Who’s The Most Underappreciated NBA Player
Over the past few years, Portland Trailblazers guard CJ McCollum has become one of the most feared shooters in the association. That’s what most people know him for. But, McCollum is way more than just a shooter. He is one of the league’s best two way guards and a key factor in the Blazers’ current success.
Other players who’ve played against CJ, know how hard it is to play against him on both ends of the court. One of them being Dwyane Wade.
Wade was on the ‘Timeout with Taylor Rooks’ podcast, and was asked who the most underappreciated player in the league is. His pick: CJ McCollum:
“For me it would be CJ McCollum. I’m not saying that because he’s a Li-Ning guy. You got two players on that team. Dame is probably very underappreciated by the world of people who don’t watch Portland play every night, but I feel like ‘undervalued’, CJ McCollum. What he brings to the team, what he brings to the game… He’s a nightmare to cover for. For guards and bigs. So I definitely give him the nod.”
