Turn Of Events, Shaq Actually Helped Launch NSYNC

Yesterday, we reported about a funny Google glitch that made Shaquille O’Neal an official band member of NSYNC. Then, before last night’s Game 4 between the Rockets and Warriors on TNT, Shaq explained that the glitch actually wasn’t too far off.

“When they were young, they recorded their first album at my house, at the studio at my house — *NSYNC and Backstreet Boys. True story.”

Actual NSYNC member Lance Bass, confirmed Shaq’s statement and told TMZ Sports:

“A lot of people don’t know, Shaquille had a big hand in starting our career. We lived in Orlando and our first place that we recorded at was his house. All of our first demos and first songs were all from Shaq’s house.”
