Since Brown wasn’t criminally charged in the incident, an internal affairs investigation took place. According to various reports, the body cam video of the incident will be released to the public this week. Apparently, Brown did not “appear to be provocative at all”, which causes the mayor of Milwaukee, Tom Barrett, to be concerned of the possible backlash.
“I’m going to let the release of that speak for itself, but yes, I definitely have concerns after watching that video,”
Brown himself in the meantime will take legal action. His attorney said the rookie is filing a lawsuit against the Milwaukee Police.
