NEVER FORGET: Last Year, The Warriors Won The Title Because Of A Toaster
In 2014, a Warriors fan, reddit user RDollaz, set his sights on getting all of the Golden State Warriors players to sign his Warriors edition fan toaster (Seriously? Was the Dubs’ marketing team really like: “Yeah, we definitely need to create a fan toaster, that will sell like hot cakes.” (pun intended)).
Then, on March 14, 2017, Klay Thompson signed the toaster. His reaction to this strange request is pricless. The look on his face… hilarious.

The fan explained the interaction with Klay:
He was definitely interested in it lol. I asked him if he’s ever signed a toaster before and he said nah. He noticed Draymond’s signature and I pointed out David Lee’s on there.
“Whoa DLee? That’s a throwback.”
That alone is a funny, and weird story. But there is more behind it. After Klay Thompson signed the toaster, the Warriors had been almost unbeatable in the 2017 playoffs, winning the championship with an incredible post toaster signing record of 31-1.
Klay Thompson promised to invite the reddit user to the Championship parade, and he followed through. As the parade was rolling by, you can see RDollaz on one of the trucks, with the famous toaster in his hands.
