Twitter Went Wild After The Clippers Traded Away Their Coach’s Son Austin Rivers
Yesterday, the Los Angeles Clippers have traded Austin Rivers to the Washington Wizards in exchange for Marcin Gortat.
This probably was only the beginning of an eventful free-agency. It looks like DeAndre Jordan could have played his last game for the franchise as well. The trade between Austin Rivers and Gortat might have seemed minuscule, but almost certainly guaranteed the impending departure of Jordan. It’s likely the first domino to fall in what promises to be a wild offseason.
After that trade though, Twitter went wild, mainly because Clippers coach Doc Rivers (who only is the coach anymore) most likely was consulted about the trade involving his son.
Austin Rivers got the 65-win Houston Rockets so angry in a game he didn't even play in, that they wanted to fight him after a game. Respect the Legend.
