Fans Had Lots Of Jokes When The Lakers Signed Rajon Rondo
As you’ve probably heard, the Los Angeles Lakers signed Rajon Rondo to a one-year, $9 million deal.
This news made fans on Twitter (and the internet in general) put out some jokes, for various reasons.
First of all did Rondo throw shade at Ray Allen for years, for what basically was the exact same move he just pulled. Secondly do the Lakers already have a pass-first point guard who couldn’t make a free throw (let alone a three pointer), if his life depended on it in, Lonzo Ball. Thirdly have Rajon Rondo and LeBron James been feuding for the better part of these past ten years.
Rondo isn’t even the first nemesis signing with the Lakers to joing LeBron. Lance Stephenson did the same thing a couple of hours earlier.
People didn’t know what to make of it, check it out.
Hard to imagine worse supporting players for LeBron than Rondo and Lance.

Rondo to the Lakers? With Lance? Surrounding LeBron? This is going to be … interesting. It's like we're playing bad fit bingo.

You put Rondo and JaVale and Lance on one team.
You also put the (arguably) Greatest Player of All Time on that team.
Is this some sort of demented experiment?
