Lance Stephenson Wasn’t Happy About Pacers GM’s Farewell Message
Lance Stephenson definitely is one of the league’s most entertaining players. But aside all the shenanigans, he can be a great playmaker and defender. The only problem; he’s only proven to be both in Indiana, but majorly disappointed during his other career stints with the Charlotte Hornets and Los Angeles Clippers.
He’s back in Los Angeles now, only this time, he signed with the Lakers and joins his old buddy-nemesis, LeBron James. During the introductionary press conference for the Pacers’ free agent acquisitions Tyreke Evans and Doug McDermott, Indiana Pacers General Manager Kevin Pritchard worded a brilliant farewell message to Lance Stephenson:
“We love Lance. We love Lance on the court, we love Lance off the court. Sometimes, he was the best player on our team and sometimes he was the best player on the other team. We love Lance and we wish him the best.”
Stephenson himself though wasn’t happy with that message and responded with an Instagram post, that has since been deleted.
“Best player for the other team really that’s how u feel about me. I put my heart to this game and also a team player. I do whatever it takes to help my team win not one time I felt like I help the opposite team win. I will always love my pacer fans.”
