Stephen Jackson Lost It When Reporter Asked If Kobe Could Handle The BIG3’s Physicality
Stephen Jackson had a great career. He playerd in the NBA for 14-years and won a championship in 2003 with the San Antonio Spurs. But he also was one of the most contoversial players around, having an outspoke opinion on most NBA topics. This is the reason he was part of many NBA talks, podcasts and shows after he retired from the NBA (rightfully so, he’s very entertaining).
Jackson also has been playing the BIG 3 league ever since its start. At a press conference, he now was asked if Kobe could handle the physicality of the BIG3. Jackson couldn’t handle the disrespect, got up and almost stormed off the podium.
“This guy from ‘Let’s get it Sports’ asked Stephen Jackson, can Kobe Bryant play in the three-on-three and handle the physicality? That question was rhetorical! I can’t spell rhetorical, but I know what it means. Kobe can play in the — any league! Any league… Kobe, please come to the league. We need you…”
