Gordon Hayward’s Sneaker Deal – Nike, New Balance and Anta In Bidding War?
You simply couldn’t imagine a worse debut than what Gordon Hayward had to live through in his first game as a Celtic. After only about five minutes, Hayward went down with a horrific ankle injury that kept him out for the rest of the season.
Thankfully, Hayward has fully recovered and can’t wait for the season to start to show everyone that he’s still got it. We know that he’ll wear Celtics green for the start of the season, but we don’t know what shoes he’ll be wearing, yet.
You see, even though he’s an All-Star player, Hayward hasn’t had a sneaker deal yet. But this is about to change. Nike, New Balance, and Anta are interested in signing Hayward to a sneaker and endorsement deal. The Celtics star is in a great position and can choose the company he wants to sign with. Last year it was Giannis, this year Gordan. Let the bidding war begin.
Gordon Hayward is receiving strong interest from 4 sneaker brands. In addition to interest from Nike and New Balance, Chinese brand Anta is pitching the Celtics All-Star with a multi-year shoe deal offer this evening in San Diego. pic.twitter.com/yZOq9iEJhW
