Is Jimmy Butler And Karl Anthony-Towns’ Relationship Irreparably Bad?
About one year ago, Jimmy Butler was guest on First Take when the question on who he would love to play with came up. His answer: Kyrie Irving.
Butler not only would pick Irving, he also said that Kyrie is his favorite player in the league. The sympathy is mutual as the two even looked into teaming up last summer, but the Chicago Bulls ended up trading Butler to the Timberwolves.
Now, after his first season with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Butler and Irving are planning to team up again. If not this summer, then next year.
Irving won’t sign an extension with Boston, Butler won’t sign one with Minnesota and is “all but fed up with the nonchalant attitude of his younger teammates,” mostly with Karl-Anthony Towns.
The Karl-Anthony Towns, Jimmy Butler relationship could have taken another hit.

This doesn’t sound too good. Maybe the Wolves need to start listening to offers for Butler now, rather than have him leave for nothing next summer.
