Andre Iguodala Trolled Reporter With ‘Fake Exclusive Retirement Story’
Golden State’s defensive stopper Andre Iguodala’s 14-year NBA career has seen it all–he was once young, stat-stuffing, high-flying swingman on a subpar Philadelphia team, who then spent a year in Denver before landing with a dynasty in Golden State.
Iguodala–selected No. 9 overall by Philadelphia in the 2004 NBA Draft–is an experienced winner whose resume is nothing to sneeze at: three-time NBA champion, NBA Finals MVP in 2015 during his first championship run with Golden State; All-Star in his final year with Philadelphia; and multiple NBA All-Defensive teams.
But is it time to call it a career and retire? No! But Iggy trolled Turner Sports’ reporter Rosalyn Gold-Onwude in a recent interview when he stated that he would be retiring from the NBA following the 2018-19 NBA season. Onwude was caught off-guard, thinking she got a major exclusive breaking news story, before it all turned out to be a trick by Iguodala, who started laughing
Andre Iguodala says he's retiring after this year………….
