Kyrie Apologized For Saying The Earth Was Flat, But Then, Paul Pierce!
What’s going on with NBA players discrediting scientific facts?
Just the other day, Kyrie Irving apologized for talking about flat-earth theories. Kyrie admitted that he was really into conspiracy theories at the time. While he apologized to everyone affected by his flat earth phase, he didn’t say that he believes otherwise.
While we know that Shaquille O’Neal also has trouble understanding how science works, Paul Pierce took things to a whole new level yesterday. He also is a firm believer of the flat earth theory and tries to explain it with following words:
“I should be able to fly to Russia in one hour if the Earth was moving at 1000 mph.”
So @KyrieIrving apologized for saying the earth was flat (shoutout all the science teachers), but then @PaulPierce34…oh boy… pic.twitter.com/cRZOACFuFL
