Steven Adams Also Doing His And Nick Collison’s Pre-Game Handshake Routine Alone

Kyle Lowry brought people to tears when he performed his and DeMar’s best friend handshake before the first game of the season. Alone! With air as his counterpart.

The handshake with a non-present former teammate seems to be en vogue in the NBA, as we were able to witness the same thing in Oklahoma City. Thunder legend Nick Collison retired after the last season, but Steven Adams performed their handshake in the exact same spot as always, just without Collison.
